Summer 2025 Marketing Intern

Columbia, MD
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Assist in the development of requests for proposals (RFPs) and qualifications (RFQs) responses.
  • Participate in marketing team brainstorming and strategy sessions and proposal kickoff meetings.
  • Assist with creating and editing presentation materials/deliverables for both internal and external purposes and project pursuits.
  • Collaborate with members of project teams and other departments regarding the creation of marketing projects and graphics in support of their activities.
  • Assist in the production of unique marketing resources for business development and other marketing needs throughout the Company, as requested, ensuring branding consistency.
  • Assist with internal and external communication in support marketing and other business development events, meetings, and materials.
  • Support marketing team in data collection and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics (customer relationship management software).
  • Assist in the preparation of award submissions and announcements, which may include writing and editing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, journalism, or a closely related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and the Adobe Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop, is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and a willingness to participate in a variety of projects.
  • Ability to think outside the box, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Database management skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Team-player mindset.
  • Self-starter with ability to maintain task ownership.
COMPENSATION

Base hourly rate: $20/hr (part-time)
