Risk Management Administrator

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain, verify, process, track, and report on Certificates of Insurance (“COIs”) from trade partners and/or their insurance agents on assigned projects to ensure timely compliance with contractual requirements.
- Review and assign insurance requirements applicable to each trade partner for a project based on trade risk matrix and work with the assigned Project Manager and Project Assistant to ensure that information is included in subcontracts, purchase contracts, and professional service agreements before they are sent for execution.
- Effectively communicate with corporate staff, project teams, brokers, and trade partners to ensure Harkins receives required insurance documentation.
- Perform employee auto insurance reviews and assessments.
- Continually ensure insurance reports for assigned projects are up-to-date and accurate.
- Manage and resolve non-complying and expiring insurance certificates.
- Proficient use of automated insurance verification (i.e., Trustlayer).
- Attend required corporate meetings, training programs, and seminars/webinars.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Insurance, Risk Management, Surety Broker experience, and construction finance/accounting experience a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Windows.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Possess the initiative and attitude to provide necessary support to corporate staff, site teams, and trade partners.
- Team player willing to assist others with job duties.
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
Harkins offers a total compensation package that includes base pay, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, short & long-term disability, HSA/FSA, tuition reimbursement, and mileage and expense reimbursement. For this role, the base pay hourly range is $28/hr-32/hr. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
