A Message From Our CEO

“For decades, the construction industry has grappled with one of the most significant gender disparities among all industries. Despite the rise in female participation, women constitute only 10.9% of the overall workforce and a mere 3% in the trades. Persistent efforts are essential to narrow this gap, which will help address the labor shortage and optimize efficiency within our industry. As advocates for women in construction, Harkins has actively worked to attract and empower female talent within our organization. Undoubtedly, our company’s culture and productivity have both improved due to our approach.”
