Assistant Superintendent 2
Supports daily jobsite operations by coordinating project schedules, reviewing submittals and contract documents, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role works closely with the project team, trade partners, clients, and design professionals to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities
- Utilize plans and specifications in daily activities.
- Review and process submittals, change orders, and requisitions.
- Understand, utilize, and assist in the development of project schedules.
- Understand and ensure compliance with contract obligations by Company and trade partners.
- Participate in job reviews and subcontractor meetings.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site logs and daily reports.
- Perform safety inspections and enforce jobsite safety.
- Follow and enforce quality control procedures for quality assurance.
- Manage temporary laborer, if required.
- Manage relationships with clients, design team, trade partners, and inspectors.
- Interact and communicate professionally and ethically with all parties associated with the project.
- Attend required Company meetings, training programs, and Harkins University seminars/webinars.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school or trade school diploma with 1-3 years of construction experience.
- Knowledge of construction terminology and general contractor duties.
- Working knowledge of plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Knowledge of management fundamentals.
- Good organization, leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to use construction management and Microsoft software.
- Knowledge of Procore and Phoenix a plus.

Harkins offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, short & long-term disability, HSA/FSA, tuition reimbursement, and mileage and expense reimbursement. For this role, the base salary range is $50,000-60,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
