Harkins Teams Up for National Rebuilding Day
Columbia, MD
On April 26th, a team of dedicated Harkins employee-owners came together for the 2025 National Rebuilding Day with Rebuilding Together Howard County, making a meaningful difference for a homeowner who had lost her husband during the COVID-19 pandemic and needed support to restore her home.
Thanks to the leadership of House Captains, Rob Maybach and Ron O’Brien, and the generosity of our trade partners Colonial Electric, Madison Mechanical, and RFC, this home now has:
- New appliances
- Safer electrical systems
- Fresh paint and a refreshed yard
- A fully functional bathroom
- A brand-new deck replacing unsafe stairs
- And, as a special request—an assembled greenhouse kit, built with heart (and a bit of rain)!
