Bristol Armed Forces Reserve Center

This $24 million design-build project northeast of Philadelphia showcased Harkins Builders’ process-driven problem solving from day one. After demolishing the former Reserve Center—including carefully decommissioning a leftover Nike missile silo used as a fire-department holding tank—we constructed a new complex featuring state-of-the-art training facilities, heated storage, a vehicle maintenance building, and two unheated storage structures.

Early collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Stantec under our Structured Plan Review® ensured that all Corps comments were resolved before foundation work began. Innovations like a light-gauge metal roof truss system and a U-shaped wall mock-up drove cost efficiency and quality control throughout the build.
