Homes at Thackston Park II

Homes at Thackston Park II is the second phase of a 50-unit affordable housing community in York, PA. Developed for CONE and the City of York with PHFA tax credits, the project includes 17 newly constructed two- and three-story buildings offering one- to five-bedroom units, including handicap accessible options. The scope also featured the demolition of nine existing structures, construction of a management office and maintenance building, improvements to an off-site community room, and integration with the adjacent Phase I.

Designed to meet high sustainability standards, the project was built to comply with DOE Net Zero Ready, Enterprise Green Communities, and Energy Star for Homes programs. Energy-efficient systems, air-sealing, and advanced plumbing design were incorporated to ensure reduced utility costs and improved comfort for residents.
