Mulberry at Park
Harkins loved being able to contribute not only to the revitalization of the Baltimore’s Westside, but also to Enterprise Homes’ goal of ending housing insecurity within a generation. It started with our preconstruction process, where our accurate early estimate allowed our client to pursue their project successfully and have a good idea of what the project was going to cost them.
Located at 211 West Mulberry Street, Mulberry at Park is a new seven-story metal stud and Hambro building that provides 68 high-quality affordable apartments near employment, schools, shopping and public transit. The exterior skin is comprised of brick, metal panel, and Hardie siding, and the structure includes a one-story concrete garage below grade offering 18 parking spaces.

Overcoming Limited Access & Staging Challenges
The project’s proximity to a major commuter road and adjacent properties meant very limited access, no staging areas, and significant infrastructure issues to be solved and coordinated with the City.
Strategic Coordination with Adjacent Property Owners
Through skillful negotiation, Harkins secured parking spaces from adjacent property owners, ensuring the efficient staging of materials.
Mastering Safety with a Strategic Lane Closure
Harkins went above and beyond, securing a lane closure on the busy Mulberry Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., ensuring the façade work was completed safely and on time.
“I just can’t say enough about how well the construction process is managed by Harkins. It really is exceptional.”
