Riverwood
Riverwood is a 55,000 sf renovation project that involved comprehensive interior and exterior upgrades to an existing building, divided into two distinct pods. Interior improvements included the installation of a new HVAC system with rooftop units, two emergency generators, extensive underground plumbing and electrical work, and new storefront interior systems featuring glass and pre-finished wood doors.
High-end finishes such as luxury vinyl tile, ceramic tile, specialty flooring, carpet, and architectural millwork with solid surface counters were installed, along with functional upgrades like tackable and wipeable wall surfaces. Additional enhancements included painting, window treatments, and new wall protection systems. Exterior renovations consisted of site improvements including sidewalks, ramps, and stairs, as well as roofing upgrades and replacement of storefront systems and exterior doors. The project required careful coordination and sequencing across the two pods to ensure smooth progress, while also aligning with the schedules of the owner’s vendors, which an essential factor in the project’s overall success.

Dual-Pod Construction Coordination
A key challenge of this project was executing renovations across two separate building pods, each requiring its own construction sequence while remaining part of a unified schedule. This dual-pod configuration demanded meticulous planning, phased coordination, and seamless communication to ensure work progressed efficiently without disruption.
