Silver Spring Healthcare Center
Located in Montgomery County, Silver Spring Healthcare Center is the adaptive reuse of an existing senior living community. The renovation transformed 133 memory care and assisted living units into 129 skilled care units, enhancing the facility’s ability to meet resident needs.
In addition to meeting skilled care code requirements, the renovation upgraded amenity finishes and added new facilities. Enhancements included new nurse stations and comprehensive nurse call systems to ensure responsive, high-quality care. HVAC and electrical systems were significantly upgraded, featuring a new air system and redundant grounding for improved performance and reliability.
