Strata East
Strata East is our latest contribution to the exciting development of downtown Allentown by City Center Lehigh Valley. Harkins won the confidence of our client on the first phase of their development, Strata Flats, and this second phase successfully completed their concept.
The two mixed-use buildings are connected by a shared parking garage, which allows residents to conveniently share amenities like the rooftop deck with fire pit, game room, and yoga and fitness areas at Strata Flats. Our contract included building an enclosed bridge between the apartments and garage.

67 Luxury Apartments
Strata East includes 67 one and two-bedroom luxury apartments. The 98,500 gsf building is four stories of wood frame construction over a one-story steel and concrete podium.
9 Retail Shop Spaces
The first level features nine retail shop spaces clad with sleek transparent glass and metal panel accent details.
Designed for Community
This phase features a private courtyard with benches, theater room, multipurpose recreation room, green roof, private dog park and wash center, and connection to the city ArtsWalk.
Tight Control Over Deliveries
The loading dock was the only place where materials could be off-loaded and hoisted to upper floors, and it is where all the utility connections were. The project team kept tight control over deliveries and traffic at that location by maintaining an hour-by-hour schedule.
