Harkins Celebrates the Grand Opening of Park Heights Place

On Wednesday, April 29th, Harkins joined Enterprise Community Development, Moseley, and other project partners to celebrate the grand opening of Park Heights Place with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Baltimore, MD.
Park Heights Place was the renovation of a four-story 84-unit senior living community, originally constructed in 1998. Serving seniors earning 50% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI), the $15.8 million renovation focused on improving energy efficiency, accessibility, and overall living conditions.
The interior scope of work included new flooring, painting, appliances, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, light fixtures, and selective doors. The exterior scope of work included a new roof, minor restoration, new windows, selective EIFS work, and minor sidewalk and asphalt replacement. Additional upgrades featured modern common areas, enhanced mechanical systems, LED lighting, solar energy systems, electric vehicle charging stations, and an on-grade diesel generator to support life-safety during power outages.
