Harkins Celebrates the Groundbreaking of Samuel Madden North

On Wednesday, November 12th, Harkins joined Fairstead, Torti Gallas + Partners, and other project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of Samuel Madden North in Alexandria, VA!
This redevelopment project will deliver 207 new affordable and mixed-income homes to the community, ensuring long-term affordability for local residents. The building’s first floor will feature a 10,425-sf community space with a fitness center, business center, and multipurpose areas for residents. A large courtyard with turf seating areas will serve as a central gathering space for residents, while innovative bioretention systems will support sustainable stormwater management.
