Merriweather E2 Celebrates Groundbreaking

The Harkins team attended the groundbreaking of Merriweather E2 (Busboys and Poets) in Columbia, MD on Wednesday, September 25th.
The new 10,771 sf cultural hub is part of the 35-acre mixed use development planned for the Merriweather District within Downtown Columbia. Located at Mango Tree Road and Valencia Lane across from Merriweather Post Pavilion, Busboys and Poets will be a freestanding building that will feature a restaurant with over 400 seats, a second floor terrace with outdoor seating, a bookstore, and a room for private events, readings, and open mic nights. This will be the franchise’s largest community gather space to date in 2020 and is destined to be a landmark in the emerging cultural neighborhood.
The project is anticipated to be completed in Summer 2020.
